Philippe Agard has been Vice President of Public Safety and Defence Markets at Nokia since 2013. He also chairs the critical communications Broadband Industry Group (BIG) a working group of The Critical Communications Association (TCCA), formed to encourage broadband vendor cooperation in the development of common global critical communications solutions. As such, he is a board member of TCCA.
Philippe has spent his entire career within Alcatel, Alcatel-Lucent and now Nokia. He previously held several positions of director in the Mobile Networks Business Group, Project Finance, Innovation and vertical markets activities.
Philippe graduated from the Ecole Supérieure d’Electricité (Supélec) in France and gained an International Diploma from Imperial College (London) and a Diploma of Advanced Economic Studies (DEA) from Dauphine, Paris. He also graduated from IHEDN (Institut des Hautes Etudes de Défense Nationale), which translates as the Institute of Advanced Studies in National Defence, in 2013.
